Roderick Easdale

Roderick is a freelance sports journalist and a crossword complier. He is the author of five books, four of which are still in print: The Novel Life of PG Wodehouse; The Don: Beyond Boundaries; Wally Hammond: Gentleman & Player and England’s Greatest Post-War All Rounder. An ex-pace bowler, his speed slowed significantly throughout his years until he finally declared after taking his last wicket by a stumping. He still plays for the MCC every now and then – but for their golf team. He is a member of Trevose and has played golf in around two dozen countries.
