The Big Brother housemates were treated to breakfast on Tuesday morning as details of their latest task - playing sardines - were announced. First up were Seany, Tracey and Gerry, who guessed straight away that a task was in the offing, after seeing the piles of food on the table and boxes each labelled with the name of a housemate. "Something tells me I will have to eat fish," complained Gerry, who recoiled at the smell of the kippers Big Brother had served up. But as the housemates tucked in, Charley went to the Diary Room and returned with details of the task - which involves the housemates dressing in fish costumes and standing side by side in a giant sardine tin. They must ensure they are touching each other at all times, but lying on top of each other, sleeping or getting out of the tin - except for toilet breaks) are all forbidden. In order to win the task - and a luxury shopping budget - ten or more housemates must stay in the tin for the duration. If they fail, then a basic shopping budget will be provided.
