Big Brother: It's Fake Week!
The Big Brother housemates are in for a surprise next week with a new arrival whom they believe is from the Australian Big Brother house. Shortly after Laura's eviction on Friday night, they were shown footage on the plasma screen of 'Pauline', an Australian housemate who they were told has been evicted from the house down under, and is on her way to the house in the UK. However, unbeknown to them, 'Pauline' is in fact an actress called Thaila Zucchi, who has starred in a number of Channel 4 shows including Balls Of Steel and The It Crowd. She was also a member of the band Allstars, who had four Top 20 hits in the early part of the decade. Their biggest hit was a cover of the Bucks Fizz song Land Of Make Believe in 2002. She will enter the house on Sunday, heralding the start of what is being called Fake Week on Big Brother. Zucchi will then spend the week trying to convince the housemates she is in fact an evictee from the Australian show - while working undercover as a spy for Big Brother. The housemates will be made to make her feel at home with a series of Australian themed tasks - without actually realising that their real task is to guess whether she is a fake housemate or not. In a further Fake Week twist, Davina McCall revealed on Friday's show that there is a surprise in store for next week's evictee. They will leave the house, have their eviction interview with Davina - and then be sent straight back in to face the housemates - who will have been watching their interview on the plasma screen.
