Sophie Lawrence evicted from Big Brother
Sophie Lawrence has missed out on a place in the Big Brother final after becoming the latest housemate to be evicted from the show.
The 20-year-old dental nurse from East London came very close to making it into the top five after initially not being nominated for the last Friday eviction of the series.
However she found herself in the firing line after previous nominee Dexter Koh chose her to replace him in order to save his place in the house.
And according to host Emma Willis the vote was one of the closest yet, with Sophie losing out in the eviction by a margin of just two per cent.
Charlie Travers and Sam Evans were also nominated, although Sophie had been the bookies' favourite to leave.
Afterwards she said in her eviction interview she was not angry with Dexter despite him being partly responsible for her exit from the house.
"He had to do what he had to do," she said, although when asked if he deserved to win added: "No, not at all."

Sophie's departure also means Dexter, Gina Rio, Charlie Travers, Sam Evans and Jack and Joe Glenny will compete for the series title in Monday's final.
Gina is currently the favourite to win, with Dexter now second in the betting.
The new series of Celebrity Big Brother will begin on Thursday August 22, just days after the current series ends.
