BGT: Amanda Holden blasted over 'naked' joke
Amanda Holden has landed in hot water after a quip on the Britain's Got Talent show Britain's Got More Talent appeared to be taken out of context.
The BGT judge incurred the wrath of viewers during the ITV2 show on Thursday night after apparently mishearing a question about dance troupe Pre Skool.
The Welsh group - who are aged between five and eight - made it through to the grand final that evening, with Simon Cowell being asked by a viewer afterwards: "What do they have to do to pull it out of the bag and win the show?"
However Amanda interrupted before Simon could answer, saying: "Be naked. All of them be naked," before asking, "What was the question?"
She later admitted she had not heard the question and was 'mortified' by what she had said - but it didn't stop viewers from flocking to Twitter to make their feelings known.
"Your comment about Pre-Skool was out of order. No they shouldn’t go naked. Disrespectful.” said one person on the microblogging site.
A spokesman for the show told The Sun that "Amanda didn't hear the question and her comments were made in jest towards a previous conversation" - believed to revolve around Simon having asked the previous caller on the programme if she was wearing any clothes.

Pre Skool - comprising the younger siblings of 2012 finalists Nu Sxool - are one of eight acts to have made it through to the semi-final so far.
Saturday's show will see the remaining nine acts competing for the final two places, with a wild card place also at stake for one of this week's rejected hopefuls.
