Britain's Got Talent once again claimed victory in the Saturday night ratings battle - but The Voice enjoyed a rise in viewing figures as it moved to a later timeslot.
According to overnight figures BGT's second auditions show pulled in a huge average audience of 9.6m between 7pm and 8.30pm on Saturday night.
That figure rose to 10.2m when adding in viewers watching on the catch-up service ITV+1 - while the overall audience peaked at over 12m, almost as high as last weekend's 13m peak.
There was also good news for The Voice, which gained more than a million viewers as it moved to 8.20pm to avoid a direct clash with BGT.
The show - which featured an audition from last weekend's BGT sensation Alice Fredenham - scored an average rating of 7.9m compared to the 6.6m who watched last Saturday.
Those figures are also considerably better than those for the show's launch episode, which was seen by 6.3m when it was screened last month.
Saturday night's Britain's Got Talent saw the likes of teenage singer Jordan O'Keeffe, impressionist Francine Lewis, singing siblings Richard and Adam and rapper MC Boy make it through to the next stage.
The show has been moved to a 7pm timeslot this year following the success of other ITV shows such as Splash! and Saturday Night Takeaway being shown earlier in the evening.
