Lloyd Webber 'wants Boyle for musical'
Andrew Lloyd Webber is keen to cast Britain's Got Talent sensation Susan Boyle in a West End musical, according to the papers. The Sun reports that Lloyd Webber - who will be appearing on stage at Saturday's Eurovision Song Contest with UK performer Jade Ewen - bumped into Boyle recently at a recording studio in London. And he admitted to the paper he has a role in mind for the 47-year-old, from West Lothian. "She is a terrific sport and she's a great fan of my shows," Lloyd Webber said. "If she wanted to be in one, well it could happen. It would have to be the right role. Maybe I know what it could be, but I'm not telling. She's got a great future." However the impresario admitted he has not seen her audition on Britain's Got Talent where she wowed the judges with I Dreamed A Dream from the musical Les Miserables . Since the audition was first shown Boyle has become a global star with millions of people viewing her performance on YouTube, and a string of TV appearances in the US. She is among the favourites to win the final of the ITV1 talent show.
