Jason Done to play doomed groom in Casualty!
Waterloo Road actor Jason Done guest stars in this week's Casualty as eager groom Andrew Wendall.
But not even a wedding planner could anticipate the drama in store for Andrew when his long-term love Amanda confesses their eleven-year-old son Paddy may not be his child - just moments before they say 'I do!'
They go ahead and tie the knot, but devastated Andrew downs champagne and later insists on driving to their next destination.
However, he takes his eyes off the road and their car careers through a building site! Crushed under rubble and scaffolding, paramedics work hard to rescue the Wendalls, but their lives hang in the balance.
Jason, pictured here on the set of Casualty, made his name as English teacher Tom Clarkson in Waterloo Road from 2006 to 2013.
Tom's dramatic life included the revelation teenage pupil Josh was his son from a one-night stand years before, and surviving a deadly bus crash when the school moved from Rochdale to Scotland.
Jason left the show when Tom fell off the school's roof while trying to help former pupil Kyle Stack (George Sampson). Jason's appeared in a number of TV dramas including Where the Heart is, Band of Brothers and No Angels.
