Danielle Lloyd has offered a message of support to Jade Goody. Model Danielle met the cancer-stricken star when they both appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007, which caused controversy when Danielle, Jade and former S Club singer Jo O'Meara were accused of bullying fellow housemate, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty. Jade, who was diagnosed with cervical cancer last August, has been told she may have just weeks to live after doctors discovered that her cancer had spread. Speaking at the Children's Champions Awards 2009 in London on Wednesday night, Danielle said: "I just really wish her well, I really hope a miracle happens. I haven't spoken to her but I've sent a message saying I hope she's OK." Danielle applauded Jade for using the media to raise awareness of cervical cancer among women. "I think it's really important what she's doing," she said. "She's proved that [cancer] can happen to young people. I think people will be proud of her and look up to her as a really good role model." Danielle recently shared her own life experiences in the BBC3 documentary Dangerous Love, in which she explored the issue of abusive relationships. She said: "It was really emotional time for me filming but hopefully I can use my experience to help other people in that situation." CLICK below to watch an interview with Danielle Lloyd
