Kelly Brook in talks for Keith Lemon movie
Celebrity Juice star Leigh Francis's dream of bringing his comedy character Keith Lemon to the big screen is coming true. Keith Lemon: The Movie, reportedly to co-star Kelly Brook, has earned the backing of Lionsgate UK and is due to begin filming on location in Belfast later this month, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Leigh said: "It's a privilege to have the power of sight, hearing, touching and feeling. But to make a film which I am going to be able to see myself in, hear myself in, but unfortunately not touch or feel myself in (because it's not in 3D) is even more'rer'rer of a privilege." The film, written by Leigh, will follow Keith as he moves from Leeds to London on a mission to be a successful entrepreneur, like his hero Richard Branson. Celebrity Big Brother star Verne Troyer will star alongside Leigh in the film and Kelly Brook has revealed she's in talks to appear in the movie. Kelly recently tweeted: "Just read the most disgustingly offen[sive] movie script! Think I may have found my next project!! Times are hard," and later added a link to the film announcement. Zygi Kamasa, CEO of Lionsgate UK said: "Given his [Keith Lemon's] universal appeal and electric popularity with the ladies, making this film will prove to be an absolute rollercoaster of a ride for us, exposing Keith's natural talent - something he is very used to doing both on and off screen."
