Coronation Street's Alan Halsall and Tisha Merry confirm relationship
After weeks of speculation, the Corrie couple have finally gone public with their romance.
Coronation Street star Alan Halsall confirmed many fans' suspicions this weekend when he finally confirmed his romance with former co-star Tisha Merry on Instagram.
Speculation about the couple's relationship has been rife since they shared several photos of themselves visiting AJ Bell Stadium together in February.
Yesterday, the actor posted an adorable image of the pair laughing together in the grounds of Stock Farm in Cheshire, where they were celebrating the marriage of Corrie co-star Sam Aston to yoga teacher Briony Gardner.
Alan wore blue chinos and a smart stone blazer, while Tisha looked stunning in a sunny strapless yellow mini dress. 'Congratulations Mr & Mrs Aston. What a wonderful day, we're so proud to be part of it,' Alan wrote.
Tish posted the same image to her own Instagram page, captioning the sweet shot with a yellow heart emoji. 'You're not a bad +1 I suppose,' Alan replied.
The couple's co-stars were quick to congratulate the happy couple, with Jane Danson posting a smiley face emoji. And their fans were just as excited.
