Corrie's Brooke Vincent proudly shows off her baby bump as she prepares to exit the soap
The actress recently announced she was pregnant...
Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent gave fans a glimpse of her blossoming baby bump as she celebrated her birthday over the weekend.
The actress - who plays lesbian Sophie Webster in Corrie - turns 27 in a couple of weeks, but couldn't resist kicking off the birthday celebrations early.
Brooke revealed she was "beside herself with happiness" after finding out she was expecting her first baby with boyfriend Kean Bryan.
"I always worried it wouldn’t happen for me," she explained. "I've always wanted to be a mum so I'm really excited."
After being on the cobbles since the tender age of just 12, Brooke will be taking a well-deserved break from the soap as she heads off on maternity leave.
But how will her exit play out on screen?

Brooke's character Sophie hasn't had the best of luck with relationships on the cobbles.
Her most recent romance was with her mum's lawyer, Paula Martin (played by Sterling Gallagher), but that was short-lived after Paula discovered Sophie had given a false alibi for friend Ryan Connor - betraying her trust.
With Sally Webster out of prison and an unfolding legal case surrounding the underwear factory, Paula is set to make a return to the street for work purposes. But it won't be long before she has her head turned by Sophie again.
According to Stirling - who plays Paula - the pair have had a great reception from fans about the 'reality' of the relationship.
“The fans seem to love the age gap between Paula and Sophie, the reality of the relationship and how we work together," she explained.
“Myself and Brooke have been trying to create that chemistry that the fans crave. I’ve had a lovely reception so far and long may that last."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
