Alan on Jack's exit: 'It's raw emotion' (VIDEO)
Alan Halsall (Tyrone Dobbs) says the scenes marking the exit of Jack Duckworth are a fitting tribute to a Coronation Street icon. Bill Tarmey, who plays Jack, is leaving Coronation Street in October and his exit scenes have already been filmed. Alan said Bill had been a father-figure to him on and off-screen and the scenes are a genuine reflection of his feeling for the actor who's been on the Street for 30 years. "In fact there was no acting required. It was just raw emotion because I will miss Bill personally as Tyrone will miss Jack and I think that came through in the scenes," said Alan at the Coronation Street 50th anniversary party in Manchester.
