Coronation Street star Michael Le Vell has claimed he will leave the soap if his character Kevin Webster does not do the right thing and end his affair. The mechanic is set to find out that his wife has cancer in a Christmas storyline and the actor has threatened to quit if the news isn’t enough to make his character ditch his mistress Molly Dobbs. He told The Sun: "If Sally's cancer doesn't end the affair and Kevin's got no remorse towards her then I'm leaving because I can't be putting up with it. "If he carries on with Molly he doesn't deserve to be in the family unit, it's as simple as that. "I hope Kevin gives all of his backing to Sally because if he doesn't he's a bigger b*****d than I thought he was. "I feel most sorry for Tyrone. Sally's had her share of affairs, but Tyrone's done no harm to anyone." Click here to watch whatsontv.co.uk's new weekly soaps video preview, the Soap Scoop
