Coronation Street casts David Platt love interest
Coronation Street fans will soon see a new face on the cobbles, as actress Kirsty-Leigh Porter joins the cast. According to the ITV1 soap's official website, her character Zoe will make a big impact on David Platt (Jack P Shepherd), who'll first bump into her in the salon. Kirsty-Leigh said: "I'm absolutely delighted, me and my family have been lifelong Corrie fans and if possible, I think my mum is even more excited than I am! I can't wait to start working with Jack and the rest of the cast." David will invite Zoe to be his date at Jason and Tina's housewarming party. Tina has repeatedly told David that she's completely over him, but will she still feel the same once she's seen her ex with another woman? Kirsty-Leigh is due to start filming this week.
