Daniel's mum wasn't happy about what happened to Billy Mayhew at Christmas
Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank has revealed that his mum Tracy didn’t like the dramatic scenes at Christmas, when his character Billy Mayhew, fell off a cliff after being held hostage by Peter Barlow.
The 38-year-old actor said: “My Twitter feed went mad on Christmas Day when people thought Billy had died, but not as mad as my mum,” he told TV Times.
“I hadn’t told her what was going to happen and when Billy fell off the cliff, she screamed, ‘Nooooooo!’ at the television.
"She said, ‘No mother should ever have to watch that.’ She takes it all very seriously.”
