Kym Marsh has admitted that her relationship with Dan Hooper is completely over, after failing to work things out.
The Corrie star, 38, and her fiance, 32, announced their engagement just five months ago.
Kym, who plays Michelle Connor in the soap, and personal trailer Dan previously told how they were taking 'a break', but that their engagement wasn’t broken off.

Now Kym has written in her OK! column: “I’m very sad to have to tell you that Dan Hooper and I have split up.”
She added: “I said I was hoping things would sort themselves out but for one reason or another it doesn’t feel like we can fix things or get back on track so we’ve decided to go our separate ways.”
Kym wrote: “Sometimes things just don’t feel right no matter how much you want it to.”
“I know some people will say we rushed in too quickly and that things got too serious too fast, but I think you have to follow your heart and I have no regrets.”
Kym has been married twice previously.

She and her second husband Jamie Lomas, father to her daughter Polly, divorced last year.
The actress was previously wed to EastEnders star Jack Ryder and has two teenage children, David and Emily, from a previous relationship.
