Corrie's Sally: 'Frank's killer is after Sally!'
Coronation Street's Sally Dynevor reveals to Soaplife how the deadly drama of Frank's murder takes another twist when Sally Webster discovers whodunit - and ends up fighting for her life! Why does Sally start investigating Frank's murder? "Sally remembers that he had his watch on the day he was killed because he checked it when he was having a go at Carla, so she can't understand why it's not with his possessions." Is this a clue? "Well, she wants the police to know about the watch because it might mean the killer isn't who they all think it is. But she doesn't know who it is. She thinks maybe it wasn't anyone they suspect, maybe it was just a random robbery." Why does Sally go to his funeral after what he did to her? "She hates him, but she goes to support Anne. Sally feels really sorry for Anne because she's a mother herself and Anne's lost her son. As much as Anne didn't like her, Sally still feels that she needs to be there for her." Is that why she goes to Frank's house later? "After the funeral Sally goes back to the pub, but then she starts to worry about Anne being in the house where Frank lived, so she decides to go round there to check she's OK." And she stumbles over some evidence... "Yes. At first what she discovers doesn't make sense, but then the penny drops and she realises she herself could be in danger." What does she do? "Sally comes face to face with the killer in that episode, but she doesn't confront them. She just wants to get away because she's so shocked." But instead of getting away she's left for dead... "She's terrified that something could happen to her now that she knows too much... And it does!"
