Ex Corrie star Tina turns drama teacher
Former Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has become a drama teacher.
The Waterloo Road star has set up acting classes for children in Didsbury, Manchester, reported The Sun.
She has teamed up with teacher friend Esther Morgan to create The Drama Mob, a class for children aged between four and 11.
The actress said: "My students are all so talented I've been amazed - many are way ahead of me when I was their age!"
Talking to DisburyLife.com about the venture, Tina said she came up with the idea because she thought it would benefit her four-year-old daughter Scarlett.
She said: "I felt that my daughter would benefit from attending a drama class to encourage confidence-building and self-esteem, but most classes advertised in the local area seemed to be quite big companies that followed a very intense structure.
"I was looking for something much more child-friendly where the emphasis was on smaller tailor-made classes in a safe and nurturing environment to help a young child's imagination flourish."
