Kym Marsh: 'I'd like to be a judge on X Factor'
Coronation Street's Kym Marsh has revealed that she fancies joining The X Factor judging panel in the future. The actress, who plays Michelle Connor in the ITV1 soap, added, however, that she wouldn't want to sit next to 'gorgeous' Cheryl Cole. According to Now magazine, Kym said: "In the future, I'd like to be the new judge on The X Factor. "Mind you, I don't think I'd want to sit down next to Cheryl Cole every day - it would make me cry! I would be getting more surgery then and I'd want to look 22. "She's so gorgeous, I actually think she's the most beautiful woman in the world." Just as Cheryl first came into the public eye by winning Popstars: The Rivals with her Girls Aloud bandmates, Kym first found fame on the 2001 series of Popstars, when she won a place in Hear'Say. Earlier this week, bookmakers Paddy Power were offering odds of 3/1 that Kym would become the new face of Iceland, after Kerry Katona was dropped amid cocaine allegations.
