Luke loses Michelle to Peter but he's not giving up, reveals Coronation Street actor Craig Kelly... How keen is Luke on Michelle? "He's fallen for her – and why wouldn't he? She's gorgeous and she's got something about her. She's a very foxy chick." Does he think Peter is a real threat? "Not at first. He's so confident in himself he's sure he'll get the girl." So how does Luke feel when he sees Michelle leaving Peter's flat the morning after the night before? "He's hurt. Knowing Michelle's more into Peter than him makes Luke realise just how much he really likes her." Does he tell her how he feels? "He tells her he's fallen for her and asks her not to go on the tour with the band… but he realises he's wasting his time. Peter also tells Michelle he's fallen for her in a big way but she still leaves." What's Luke looking for – a steady girlfriend or just a bit of fun? "Luke wants to have fun until the right girl comes along – and he believes Michelle is that girl. He'd rather have a regular girlfriend than play the field." So he'll still want Michelle when she comes back from touring? "He's hoping she'll return thinking she made a dreadful mistake." Will he date anyone in the meantime? "Rosie throws herself at him and at first he’s not sure. But she is a bit of a sex bomb and he goes for her..." Is Luke a player? "He has been in the past but I don't think he is any more. He had a girlfriend he loved but she died when they were on holiday in Greece. He told Michelle about that. The thing about him is he's not as tough as he looks. It's all a big front and he's quite vulnerable underneath." Are you enjoying the love triangle story? "It's great but it's been a bit too brief for my liking. I have enjoyed showing another side to Luke, although kissing Kym Marsh was a bit embarrassing. But I really thank God that Corrie goes out at 7.30pm and kissing is all I have to do. In Queer As Folk I had to take my top off... a lot!"
