Reg and Curly reuniting for Coronation St special
Coronation Street's Reg Holdsworth and Curly Watts are to reunite for a DVD special celebrating the soap's 50th anniversary. Ken Morley and Kevin Kennedy are reprising their roles as the comic double act, who worked together at Bettabuys supermarket. Ken, who quit the soap 15 years ago, told the Sun: "It is tremendous to be working with him again." Kevin, who left in 2003, added: "It's great to be back with my old sparring partner - it will be a lot of fun." The soap's producer Phil Collinson has previously confirmed that no previous characters will be returning to the show for the December milestone, so Curly and Reg's starring role in a DVD will delight the soap's fans. Details of the Coronation Street spin-off's storyline are yet to be released. Click here to watch whatsontv.co.uk's weekly soaps video preview, the Soap Scoop
