Coronation Street favourites Roy and Hayley Cropper will embark on a fun-filled adventure to Romania in a special episode to be released on DVD in time for Christmas. Roy and Hayley, played in the ITV1 by David Nielson and Julie Hesmondhalgh, are delighted when a face from their past invites them to attend her glamourous wedding to footballer, Dean Fraser, who's currently playing in Romania. The couple eagerly set off on their Transylvanian travels, but things soon take an unexpected turn for the worse. When problems with their flight mean they miss the wedding, the disappointed pair at least have a few days of relaxation to look forward to at a remote villa. But their plan is thwarted when they are joined at the villa by brash couple Verity and Glen, who claim to be Dean's Aunt and Uncle. Verity and Glen's riotous antics force Roy and Hayley to cut their trip short and, at the airport, they bump into Weatherfield hellraiser Becky Granger.
