Mary Taylor and Norris Cole's sham marriage plans in Coronation Street came about because Mary was desperate to win a competition cash prize so she could afford to visit her son, Jude Appleton, in South Africa.

Things got out of control when Mary was forced to lie to Jude about the 'marriage' and he decided it was an occasion he and his wife, Angie, and child had to be at! Consequently, Jude booked his flights and Mary had to book a real wedding ceremony with Norris to keep up the pretence.

Now, Mary and Norris are due to take their vows… Will the wedding go ahead? Or will it turn into a family disaster?
