Funnyman Bobby Davro has become the first male celebrity to get the boot from Dancing On Ice 2010 after losing out in the skate-off. The 50-year-old faced some stiff competition when it came to skating for survival, against The Bill star Gary Lucy who was also in the bottom two despite being one of the favourites. And after they had both reprised their routines, the judges' verdict was unanimous - with all of them voting to save Lucy. "Bobby really made me laugh but this is Dancing On Ice not Comedy On Ice," said Emma Bunton - although other judges showed regret in letting Davro go. "I'm going to miss having a great entertainer on the show," Nicky Slater said before casting his vote. Afterwards Davro said he was "extremely disappointed" to be out of the competition so quickly but took his defeat graciously. "I know I wasn't the best skater and you've got to be the best skater to win this show - that's what I believe" he said. "I just didn't cut it, but I tried my damnedest and I've had the most fantastic time." Earlier, Davro finished at the bottom of the judges' scoreboard following his routine with skating partner Molly Moenkhoff. Despite some encouraging words from the panel he scored just 10.5 points. 12 celebrity skaters - six men and six women - now remain in the competition, following Sinitta's departure from the show last weekend. Next Sunday's show will see the men and the women competing together for the first time, with one more celebrity facing the chop.
