Dancing on Ice judge Jason Gardiner has insisted he has 'no regrets' about his comments made toward head coach Karen Barber at the weekend. Jason came under fire for leaving Karen in tears on Sunday night's show after he said her opinion 'no longer mattered' as she was not on the panel. His comments sparked outrage among fans, cast and members of the crew on the show, resulting in over 2,000 comments being made to ITV and Ofcom. Jason has since apologised to Karen, however, according to The Mirror, he told friends: "It's not my problem if some people don't like to hear the truth. Everyone should get over it." On Tuesday night on Twitter, he hinted that he had received internet abuse over the row: "Thank you to all of you who have sent me kind support during this rather precarious time. "But there are others who are very disturbed indeed." A source close to Jason said: "He made his apology but he has no real regrets over what happened. He just wants to get on with doing what he is paid for, which is giving constructive criticism of the skaters, and not sugar-coating things and saying they are nice. The source added: "He won't be contacting Karen before the show on Sunday night," indicating that the row could continue into the shows this weekend.
