Kerry Katona voted out of Dancing on Ice 2011
Kerry Katona has become the latest celebrity to leave Dancing on Ice 2011, after losing out to Jeff Brazier in the Sunday skate-off. Both Kerry and Jeff had previously ended up skating for survival after finding themselves in the bottom two earlier on in the competition, but Kerry's time was finally up after her and partner Dan Whiston's performance failed to impress the judges. After Kerry and Jeff reprised their routines from the ultimate skills-themed show, the judges were in unanimous agreement that Jeff should remain in the competition while Kerry should be sent home. Emma was first to vote, she said: "Kerry go on your holidays, Jeff brilliant, brilliant performance that last one - I'm saving Jeff". Robin also chose to save Jeff: "That turned out to be one of the best performances of the night, I save Jeff. Jason was last to vote, making it a clean sweep in favour of keeping Jeff in the competition. He said: "The ultimate skills test - Jeff, you stepped up, you're the man, you deserve to stay. Kerry happy holidays". Speaking to Phil about what the competition meant to her, Kerry said: "It's been more than a skating competition. "I want to say thank-you to the public, to each and every one of them for voting and giving me a second chance. "My kids are proud, which I've done". Kerry's partner, Daniel Whiston said: "It's been a journey and I've learned a lot about myself on this journey. Kerry's been a brilliant friend and to me, Kerry's my winner". Kerry then thanked her partner Daniel for 'all his patience', as well as Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, the three judges, Phil and Holly, the production and backstage team and all her fellow judges. Kerry's departure leaves just seven contestants left to compete for this year's winners title. Favourites Laura Hamilton, who received this week's highest judges score, Sam Attwater and Vanilla Ice all made it comfortably into the next round. Next week's show is the Dancing On Ice World Tour where each performance will have an international theme. Don't miss all the skating action next Sunday from 6.30pm on ITV1.
