Matt Lapinskas has revealed his Dancing On Ice partner Brianne Delcourt is like a sister to him.
The former EastEnders star has impressed judges with his performances on the ITV show, and credits his skating skills to the Canadian professional.
He told This Morning: "Brianne, she's like a little sister. I'm like her big brother, so you have to have that sort of chemistry and that trust in each other because if she didn't trust me then we wouldn't be doing these type of lifts.
"Next week we're going to go bigger with the lifts, you've got to have that trust."
The ex-soap star - whose dad is from Canada - added: "I've got Canadian citizenship so we're Team Canada."
Matt said of his fellow contestants: "We all started off very shaky on the ice but once you get into it and once you get aggressive with it - there was one point during training when Brianne turned around and said, 'I'm getting bored of you with stiff legs, can you just get aggressive and get into it'. Brianne taught me everything, she's been absolutely fantastic."
Matt also revealed that Dancing on Ice fans will get to see a flying routine later in the series.
"It's a very new thing, none of us are used to being up in the air and having to spin around. Gareth [Thomas, rugby star], he was very sick."
