Matt Lapinskas scores perfect 10 (PHOTOS)
The first perfect 10 of this year's Dancing On Ice has been a long time coming - but Matt Lapinskas finally reached the magic number in Sunday night's semi-final with a pair of almost perfect routines.
The former EastEnders star triumphed in the first half of the show with his flying routine to Nat King Cole's Straighten Up And Fly Right - scoring 10s from all of the judges except for Jason Gardiner who gave him a nine.
However the notoriously hard to please Jason made up for it in the second half of the show when he gave Matt a 10 for his performance to Michael Jackson's Bad - with Ashley Roberts also giving him full marks.
Both Karen Barber and Robin Cousins rewarded him with a score of 9.5 - once again giving him a total of 39.
And the judges raved about his performances, with Robin calling his airborne performance "the best male flying we've ever had in all of our series so far. It was beautiful from beginning to end...seamless."
Jason added: "I would have liked to have seen the back leg a little higher...I'm a bit picky, but this is the semi-finals people."
However he could barely hide his enthusiasm for Matt's second performance, saying, "That was the complete package for me," while Ashley told him, "You've got the it factor."

Meanwhile Beth Tweddle scored a more muted response for her routine to Jessie J's Domino - which picked up largely positive responses from the judges but was criticised by Jason.
He told her, "There were moments, but it was mechanical, like you're dead behind the eyes" - only to be met with a chorus of boos from the audience.
The Olympic gymnast fared better in her flying routine to Sarah MacLachlan's Angel, scoring a 10 from Robin and leading Jason to comment: "You really came into your own and owned it."
Karen Barber agreed, telling her: "Anyone that doubted you as a performer should watch that because it was beautiful."
Luke Campbell and Gareth Thomas also performed in Sunday's semi-final - although the latter came a cropper when he was judged too sick to perform his midair routine.
