You do already need to have a Philips Hue Bridge with Philips Hue smart lights connected to it to make this work. We share a lot of deals on Philips Hue lights, so there's a good chance you've already got something setup. If not, you can look into an option like this 2-bulb starter kit that includes a couple of smart bulbs and the bridge and will work with the sync box.
