The remote is also updated with voice control and a few extra buttons, including power and volume control. It comes with two AAA batteries, but you might consider adding some rechargeable batteries so you can just power them back up and keep on streaming when they get low.
Roku did announce new models that are similarly priced, but these Streaming Stick devices come with a more advanced remote that includes voice control. If you want the new model with a voice remote, you'd need to buy the Walmart-exclusive Roku Premiere Plus, which isn't out yet.
