Larry Lamb will apparently return to EastEnders this summer. Viewers saw the actor's sinister character Archie Mitchell being told to leave Albert Square by stepson Phil after being tied to a chair and thrown into a pit, but it seems Archie will ignore Phil's order to never come back. A show insider told The Sun: "Archie has been the single most manipulative Mitchell ever seen - and it won't change when he returns." And Larry would be happy to return to the soap and work with Barbara Windsor, who plays wife Peggy. "I love working on EastEnders, it's been an absolute joy and Archie is a great character," he said. "Working with Barbara is a dream come true. She's a legend." His manipulative alter ego is said to make an explosive return to Walford this summer, armed with a bombshell or two for his family.
