Realising that boyfriend Ben Mitchell (Harry Reid) was preparing to dump her to be with Paul Coker (Jonny Labey), desperate Abi Branning (Lorna Fitzgerald) derailed his plan… by revealing in front of everyone in The Vic that she was pregnant with his baby on EastEnders.
Ben's still reeling from Abi's bombshell and remains torn on what to do. His mum, Kathy (Gillian Taylforth), is worried for him and says he needs to make a decision.
In The Vic, Ben turns to Paul for support, but they're interrupted by Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty), who puts doubts in Ben's mind about whether or not Abi is telling the truth. Could she really be lying to him?
Ben decides to confront Abi, who angrily insists she is pregnant and storms off.
Later, in front of Jay (Jamie Borthwick) at the Arches, Abi presents Ben with a pregnancy test, which is positive.
Ben's convinced and decides he's going to be a better dad than his own father. He tells Abi he's there for her and the baby.
Later, Abi has a doctor's appointment and Ben insists on going along with her…
After seeing the doctor alone, Abi tells Ben their baby is due in October… but is she telling the truth?
