Sam Strike is leaving Enders… So is it Johnny who finds out Dean raped Linda?
So, EastEnders have announced that Sam Strike is leaving the soap after only a year in the role as Johnny Carter, the gay son of Mick (Danny Dyer) and Linda (Kellie Bright).
According to EastEnders: “Sam has already finished filming his final scenes.”
Sam tweeted: “Decided to bow out. Thanks for all the love this year guys. Means the world.”
This definitely means Ben Mitchell (Harry Reid) won’t be enjoying any sort of true romance with Johnny.
But is Ben the reason Johnny leaves?
It also definitely means that Johnny won’t be in Enders’ live 30th anniversary episode in February 2015, when we’re supposed to find out who killed Lucy Beale.
So can we cross Johnny off the list of suspects? Or does this mean he’s gone on the run to escape justice?

Or, maybe, it’s Johnny who finds out first what dirty Dean (Matt Di Angelo) did to his mum and takes revenge, with devastating, deadly consequences…
“We’re keeping details of Johnny’s exit under wraps,” says EastEnders.
Still, not long now to wait to find out…
EastEnders continues on BBC1, Monday, November 17, 8.00pm.
