EastEnders spoilers: Winter preview including massive Max revenge plan!
EastEnders spoilers! Here's our preview of what's coming up in EastEnders this winter, including lots of Max plot twists and big exits in the run up to Christmas!
MAX BRANNING'S REVENGE PLAN CONTINUES
Max Branning’s revenge against the Beales has already resulted in Jane’s departure and Steven’s death, but it’s not over yet as our insider reveals: “Max’s plan steps up a gear as he becomes more intent on revenge than ever. There are huge twists in the run-up to Christmas which will leave EastEnders viewers gasping as they see just how far he’s prepared to go…”
MEL RETURNS!
There’s some exciting comebacks to E20 on the horizon, with Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite) returning in early 2018. Last seen fleeing to Portugal in 2002, after getting caught up in her late husband Steve’s dodgy dealings, her reappearance will fire up the cold winter nights!
“Sassy Mel Owen’s return will turn a few heads and open old wounds,” says our Walford insider. “But with so much history in Albert Square, including a failed marriage to Ian Beale and a one-night stand with Phil Mitchell, why is she back?”
We’ll also be catching up with Masood Ahmed when the popular postie, played by Nitin Ganatra, comes home. He’s not alone, but who are the family members who accompany him? Meanwhile, there’ll be also be a new face on the BBC1 soap in the shape of former S Club 7 star Hannah Spearitt, who has a guest turn at Christmas as Karen Taylor’s younger sister, single mum Kandice.
SHOCK EXITS
We’ll be saying goodbye to three major characters soon, with Branning sisters Abi (pictured) and Lauren as well as Ben Mitchell all set to go in suitably spectacular fashion. “These exits are shrouded in secrecy,” says our source. “But they will be huge and have massive implications for two of Walford’s biggest families over winter time.”
KATHY’S NIGHTMARE
Having faced rapist James Willmott Brown for the first time in 25 years, Kathy Beale is reeling. “His return continues to have a big impact on Kathy, bringing back terrible memories from one of the darkest experiences of her life. Her family are worried how she’ll cope, particularly Ian. But how can they help her? And how does Kathy figure in Willmott-Brown’s sinister plot to take over Albert Square?”
