She's determined to protect her son Lachlan, who shot Lawrence, and has decided Andy will pay the price instead.
When she works out Rakesh was behind The Mill fire, she's got the lawyer over a barrel and orders him to make Andy plead guilty to Lawrence's shooting or else!

Earlier, Chrissie's nervous when Lachlan visits Andy and nearly blows the truth about the shooting. She quickly covers for her son and, playing the doting girlfriend, tells Andy she'll do everything she can to help prove his innocence. Ha! If only he knew she's secretly plotting the exact opposite!
Meanwhile, having backed Rakesh into a corner, Chrissie orders him to make Andy plead guilty to the shooting.
