Lucy Pargeter has revealed she will be returning to Emmerdale after she left earlier this year to give birth to twin girls.
Emmerdale actress Lucy Pargeter has revealed that she will be returning to the Dales soon.
Fans of the soap have been waiting for the return of Chas Dingle since Lucy left earlier this year to give birth to twins Betsy and Missy.
And it looks like fans won't have long to wait. Lucy, who has starred as Chas on the soap since 2002, tweeted the happy news that she returned to work yesterday.
Tweeting from her account on Wednesday, Lucy wrote: "Big day tomorrow my beautiful#twirls turn 5 months and I go back to work !! Huge mix of emotions I'm going to miss them so much #workingmum"
The mum-of-three was inundated with supportive tweets from not only fans, but her fellow co-star Jonathan Wrather, who plays evil Pierce Harris.
He tweeted: "Bless ya good luck Parge it'll go well I'm sure it will x"

Lucy revealed how she and fiance Rudi Coleano had tried to get pregnant for 11 years before turning to fertility treatment.
Speaking to OK magazine, Lucy said: “The whole process is extremely hard. The not knowing, the wanting to get excited.
“For my age, the chance of it working was 20%, so we were pumping so much money into it and wanted it so badly, but it was completely out of our control.
“You can do everything right, but if those eggs don’t want to stick, they won’t.”
