Emmerdale beauty Natalie to launch a red carpet fashion line
Emmerdale star Natalie Anderson has announced that she's launching her own red carpet fashion line.
The actress's Emmerdale co-stars could be some of the best dressed TV stars at upcoming awards events as Natalie, who plays Alicia Metcalfe in the ITV soap, has been working on a glamorous fashion project with bridal designer Kate Chapman.
She revealed in her Hello! blog: "So a few weeks ago, I mentioned I was working on a secret project. Well, I'm thrilled to finally be able to say that I will be joining forces with my good friend and couture bridal designer Kate Chapman and launching our own design label this summer.
"Over the last few months we have had endless meetings to discuss sketches, fabrics, embellishments and patterns and I have absolutely loved it!
"Our first red carpet collection is scheduled to be ready for early summer, which is extremely exciting and yet nerve-wracking at the same time. I will definitely keep you posted over the coming months with how everything is going... Eek!"
Natalie posted photos of fabric swatches and design sketches, which include backless gowns and full skirts.
She also wrote in the blog that she had recorded a celebrity episode of quiz show The Chase.
