Emmerdale star Steve Halliwell to publish his autobiography
Emmerdale fans find out much more about one of the soaps much-loved actors when If The Cap Fits: My Rocky Road to Emmerdale, by Steve Halliwell, is published in September.
Steve, 60, who plays lovable rogue Zak Dingle, has been with the soap since 1994.
The autobiography is Steve’s story of rejection and redemption throughout a fascinating and colourful life.
But before he found success in Emmerdale, Steve spent many years looking for work, at one point spending time on the streets in search of food, sleeping in bushes, virtually living the life of a tramp.
If The Cap Fits is a warts-and-all story of Steve’s rise to fame and is being published to coincide with the 20th anniversary of Steve’s first appearance in Emmerdale.
His other TV work include roles in ITV’s other soap, Coronation Street, and All Creatures Great and Small and he talks about that in his book, too.
