Emmerdale's Natalie: 'Alicia realises she has to move on from David'
Emmerdale star Natalie Anderson says Alicia finally realises she must escape David if she's to ever get over her ex husband.
The 31-year-old actress, who plays Alicia, told TV Times that her character comes to her senses when David's bride-to-be Priya returns next week from bridal boot camp, brimming with ideas for her and David's nuptials.
"That brings Alicia back to her senses," explains Natalie. "She is like, 'They're getting married: deal with it'. She realises she has to try to move on."
And she knows that to do that she must quit her job as David and Pyria's wedding planner and focus on her boyfriend Dom.
"She thinks if she gets away from David, she can concentrate on a future with Dom. Alicia really wants to feel for Dom the way he feels for her.'
