David and Tracy Metcalfe learn Frank Clayton and Charity Dingle slept together… Will any one of them reveal all to Megan Macey? Emmerdale’s Gaynor Faye hopes so!
Frank Clayton’s performed something of a miracle by melting the heart of ice queen Megan Macey. But will she still be feeling the love if she finds out he slept with Charity Dingle? The truth about that tryst is dangerously close to coming out when Tracy and David Metcalfe learn what happened.
“Charity’s the worst person he could have chosen,” Gaynor Faye told Soaplife. “Megan sees a future with Frank and Charity is her nemesis.”
Has Megan fallen for Frank? “Yes. She’s been swept up by his charm. She sees a bit of her brother, Declan, and her father in him. He’s everything her ex Jai isn’t.”
Is he a keeper in her eyes? “She doesn’t have flings and, now she has daughter Eliza, Megan wants somebody there for her. She wouldn’t introduce somebody like Frank [Michael Praed] into her life if she didn’t see a future for them.”
If Charity is Megan’s nemesis, why does she go into business with her? “Leyla [Roxy Shahidi] pushes her and she can see a good business opportunity. But Debbie Dingle [Charley Webb] has a lot to do with it, too. Her daughter, Sarah, is ill and Megan can see Debbie wants to make a go of this business. She thinks it’s morally the right thing to do.”
Charity wants to tell Megan about her and Frank… How would that go down? “It would be an awful scenario. She’d erupt initially, then it would go into a slow burn. Megan’s good at getting revenge. She did it to Declan several times. She’d think hard about how to get her own back.”
How do Tracy and David find out about Charity and Frank? “Charity is reassuring Frank she won’t tell Megan anything and David and Tracy overhear the conversation.”
Do you want Megan to find out? “Well, I always enjoy the slanging matches Megan and Charity have. They’re like a pair of head-butting rams. Those two give as good as they get and some of the lines they write for us are fantastic. In another world, Megan and Charity would be mates. But because of what’s happened in the past and now, I don’t think it will happen.”
