Paddy makes a surprise return to Emmerdale and is shocked to walk in on his wife locking lips with Pierce!
After packing his bags for Germany back in April, this week Paddy returns to the village. However the vet, whose marriage to Rhona broke down following his affair with Tess, gets much more than he bargained for, when he discovers his estranged wife has a new man in her life: Pierce! Paddy's flabberghasted when he walks in on Rhona and swarthy lawyer Pierce, Tess's husband, locked in a passionate clinch. And Rhona's equally shocked to see her ex back in Emmerdale! As emotions rocket, where do the pair go from here?

Rhona has written Paddy a letter explaining she's now in a relationship with Pierce but it seems it's gone missing in the post!
When Paddy returns to Emmerdale from Germany, he's utterly stunned to walk in on his estranged wife getting raunchy with the husband of his former lover, Tess!
As for Pierce and Rhona - they're like rabbits caught in headlights when Paddy makes his untimely return. So how will Paddy react when Rhona tells him she and Pierce are now a couple?
Paddy's gutted and later pleads with Rhona, begging for her to forgive his affair with Tess so they can move on together but Rhona's adamant their marriage is over and there's no going back. Paddy's determined to show Rhona that Pierce is not the nice guy everyone thinks he is and announces he's going to tag along on Pierce's bike training session with Carly to keep a watchful eye on him!
Pierce is not exactly happy to have his girlfriend's ex insisting on tagging along as well as Marlon!
Later in the week Paddy pleads with Rhona to give him another chance and in the heat of the moment, leans in to kiss her.
