The Thomases lead the mourners as village vicar Ashley is laid to rest.
A sad day dawns in Emmerdale… it's time for Ashley's funeral. Laurel and the children are in pieces at the service. And vicar Harriet, who is leading the ceremony, is struggling as much as the Thomases. She once had a serious relationship with Ashley and still has deep feelings for him.
Later, Harriet is consoled by Cain. But when he pops by the church the next day, the vicar is humiliated to realise Cain's not there to check up on her, he's there to hide yet more stolen goods! Will furious Harriet shop the bad boy Dingle, who she's been kissing, to the police?
