But when she arrives on the 'date', it turns out Keith has in fact roped Colleen in to help at a shelter. Ruby tries to build bridges between her family and the Braxtons. So she invites Charlie to a family barbecue at Casey's. Given the amount of times Charlie has clashed with Brax, she is hesitant. But later when she talks to Brax, she inadvertently manages to insult his mother and get herself uninvited. When she tells Ruby she's not allowed to come to the barbie, Ruby thinks Charlie is just making excuses. Swallowing her pride, Charlie once again goes to speak to Brax to try and make amends. Casey is out delivering pizzas and happens upon a mansion that's unoccupied during the week. He brings Ruby over to spend the day there and she comes up with a dangerously tempting idea...
