A mourning Jordan returns to work

It's a sad day for Holby City's clinical lead Nick Jordan as he attends the funeral of his partner Superintendent Yvonne Rippon. Heavily pregnant Yasmin is among the mourners. And she feels guilty because she's harbouring a terrible secret - her shopkeeper husband Mehmet is responsible for Yvonne's death! After the burial grieving Jordan is enraged when Liam, the former cellmate of Nylon - the teenager accused of a stabling Yvonne - approaches him. Liam has a message for Jordan, but Jordan is so furious he refuses to listen. Broken hearted Jordan decides to return to work in order to take his mind off his grief. But he's shocked when badly beaten Liam is admitted to the emergency department. During Jordan's shift Mehmet is also admitted to the hospital with heart trouble. The shopkeeper is ill with grief and shame over his part in Yvonne's death, but when his wife gives birth he decides to remain silent and put his family before Nylon's freedom. Meanwhile, Jordan visits Nylon in the Young Offender Institute and still believes the youngster is guilty...
