Roxy encourages Alfie to keep his chin up in the wake of the betrayal by Kat. While Tommy is with Kat, Roxy suggests that Alfie take her and Amy to Santa's grotto. At the grotto, Alfie and Roxy come face-to-face with Kat, who is there with Tommy. Kat feels humiliated as Alfie blanks her, but makes a big fuss of Tommy. Max and Tanya survey the carnage of Lauren's meltdown. With a ripped wedding dress and cake trodden into the carpet, there's no option but to call off the wedding. Lauren is disgusted at herself for destroying their wedding day. Max lets Lauren into a secret - he's planning a surprise wedding for Tanya on Christmas Day! Max is livid that Derek has been blackmailing Tanya. Determined to have a word with him, he reveals to Derek that he knows about the blackmail and about Joey and Lauren. Max tells Derek that after Christmas day he wants nothing more to do with him. After Max leaves, Derek boils with rage that his brother is telling him what to do.
