Ari ties Steph Scully up, determined to avenge Belinda, believing that snakes only bite evil people. He intends to let them loose on Steph, while she tries to figure out how to outwit him.
Mark decides to talk to Ned, agreeing to keep his secret on the condition that the affair is over. Meanwhile, Elly thinks Mark and Ned are fighting over her.
Jack finds a bible left open at a page with a quote about serpents. He finds Mark, who realises his work had tried to call and let him know about Ari's escape. Jack has an epiphany and bursts in on Steph and Ari in the Blaze Outreach centre, just as Ari is about to release the snakes. The last thing we hear is Steph screaming - has the snake bitten her or Jack?
Gary is dismayed to receive a phone call from the racing officials - his bird was doped. Gary swears he had nothing to do with it - but he's stripped of his prize and furious at Paul, who he’s sure must be involved.
