GBBO spin-off Crème de la Crème has a new title and new hosts in comic Tom Allen and Bake Off fan favourite Liam Charles.
But don’t fret, it’s still presided over by the same demanding judges – professors of patisserie perfection Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden, who’ll be measuring every meringue and scrutinising each choux bun.
In tonight’s opener we meet the first six teams from top baking establishments around Britain, all of whom must put a show-stopping twist on an old classic – the Black Forest gateau.
