Bethany Platt suddenly collapses when she pushes herself too hard at the gym in Corrie
Bethany’s pops some more diet pill when Sarah mentions her forthcoming exam results. While Gary oversees Craig’s induction at the gym, Bethany pounds away on a running machine and suddenly collapses. She regains consciousness and assures Gary she’s fine. But when he confronts her with her diet pills, she snatches them and storms off.
Eva explains to a secretly delighted Aidan that Leanne’s ditched her Liverpool plans so he won’t be able to move in after all. Nick asks Leanne who the father of the baby is but she lies, making out she had a one-night stand with a stranger. Later, when Tracy clocks Nick and Leanne leaving the maternity unit, she’s intrigued.
Offering to help Gail with the kids, Michael takes Max to the Kabin. Whilst Michael pays for Max’s comic, he clocks Max stealing a toy. Max explains to Michael that he took the toy as his Mum always used to buy him a present on Lily’s birthday. Later, Michael assures Gail he no longer has feelings for Eileen and she agrees to give their relationship another go.
Sharif tells Sonia that much as he cares about her, he’s not willing to risk his marriage.
