Doctors Sam and Dylan are forced to confront their failed marriage this week while stuck in an underground cave rescuing Connie Fisher! The West End star makes a guest appearance as Amanda, a critically injured dog-lover, who becomes trapped in a subterranean cave. Dave, a fellow dog walker hears her screams, but he's dragged into the cavern with Amanda when he attempts to help. Luckily Dave has a phone signal, so he calls the emergency services, while Amanda lies badly injured. Mercifully, it's not too long before action-hero medic Sam (Charlotte Salter) abseils into the subterranean cave. The ex-army medic is assessing the casualties when, without warning, the cave roof collapses and Dave is crushed under a boulder... Working together Dylan and Sam manage to save Amanda, but Dave dies before they can get him to hospital. At the end of the shift Sam calls her solicitor to begin divorce proceedings. Life's too short to be trapped in a hopeless relationship...
